    Born in Vienna, Austria
Birth name was Stephany Julienne Richter
Married Austrian diplomat Prince Friedrich Franz von Hohlenhoe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfurst (1914-20)

She got knocked up during an affair with the son-in-law of Emperor Franz Joseph I, but managed to convinced Prince Friedrich Franz that the kid was his.
She kept the title of Princess after divorcing Prince Friedrich Franz.
She was paid £300,000 by the government of Nazi Germany to persuade British press baron Lord Rothmere to campaign in favor of returning to Germany the territories it had lost to Poland after World War I.
She reportedly encouraged pro-German sympathies among other members of the British aristocracy, such as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor and George, Duke of Kent.
She was suspected by the intelligence services of France, Britain and the US of spying for Nazi Germany.
She aided Nazi Germany even though her mother was Jewish.
Herman Goering gave her a castle, Schloss Leopoldskron, that had been seized from Jewish director Max Reinhardt.
The FBI claimed that as a spy she was 'worse than ten thousand men.'
She evaded an order from FDR to expel her from the country by seducing Major Lemuel Scholfield, the head of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (October, 1941).

Why she might not be annoying:

One biographer described her as 'radiating personality and charm.'
She worked as a Red Cross nurse during World War I.
The British intelligence service MI6 reported, 'She is frequently summoned by the Führer who appreciates her intelligence and good advice. She is perhaps the only woman who can exercise any influence on him.'
A jealous Unity Mitford kept harping about her Jewish roots to Hitler.
After she was detained as an 'enemy alien' following Pearl Harbor, she provided information to the OSS (the predecessor of the CIA) for a psychological profile of Hitler.
