    Played for the Phoenix Suns (1975-88)
    NBA Rookie of the Year (1976)

Why he might be annoying:

    His nicknames were 'Double A' and the 'Oklahoma Kid.'
    He looks like a skinnier version of Andre the Giant.
    Despite his accolades, he is rarely acknowledged as being one of the greats from his era.
    He skipped his senior season of college to enter the NBA Draft.
    Many of the younger Suns fans are unfamiliar with him and his contributions to the franchise.

    He was one of the first members of the Oklahoma men's basketball program to have his jersey retired.
    He was a member of the Suns team that made the franchise's first appearance in the NBA Finals (1976).
    He spent his entire career with the Suns franchise.
    He granted the Suns permission to reissue his #33 to Grant Hill, when the latter was acquired by the team.
    He served as one of the longest serving members of the franchise as of 2020.
