    Appeared in three dozen ‘Our Gang’ shorts (1923-26)
    Appeared in fourteen ‘The Boyfriends’ shorts (1930-32)
    Appeared in the films ‘College Humor’ (1933), ‘Queen of the Jungle’ (1935), ‘Youth on Parole’ (1937), ‘I Am a Criminal’ (1938), and ‘On the Spot’ (1940)
    She was cast in the ‘Our Gang’ series because her stepfather Gene was a photographer for producer Hal Roach.
    Most of her roles as an adult were in B pictures.
    Coming full circle, she appeared in a couple of ‘Our Gang’ shorts as an adult playing a teacher (1933-37).
    She was considered the leading lady of ‘Our Gang’ during the silent film era.
    She said about her days as a child star, ‘I have no regrets…. I think we had a privileged childhood working in those films.’
    After her second marriage, she retired from the screen to help her husband run a ranch and raise horses.
