In the episode where Schneider and Wopat returned, he and Cherry disappeared after the first commercial break and never showed up in Hazzard County again.
He has been married three times, divorced twice.
He is a born-again Christian.
Why he might not be annoying
He said about his 'Norman Rockwell' upbringing, 'I truly believed I was too normal to be an actor.'
Shortly before he landed the role of Vance Duke, his one bedroom Hollywood apartment was robbed.
He and Cherry beat out 2,230 hopefuls who auditioned for the roles.
He rebounded from his short-lived 'Dukes' stint with a soap opera role.
