Why she might be annoying
She is against abortion and many feminist issues.
Although an independent conservative, she voted to disallow the hand recount, assuring George W. Bush a tainted election victory (2000).
Feminist groups who tend to be at odds with her, note that if she was not a woman, her résumé would not qualify her for the supreme court.
Why she might not be annoying
She was the first female Supreme Court Justice (1981).
She made some movement to the middle and showed some signs of independence (but is unfortunately drawn back to the conservative side).
