Why she might not be annoying
She was one of the first women in puritan times to preach her own interpretation of the Bible.
She was considered a heretic for saying that it was a blessing and not a curse to be a woman.
She and most of her younger children were killed by local Indians, even though they had been friendly with them.
Her descendants include: Franklin Delano Roosevelt ,George W. Bush , Chevy Chase , Ted Danson , Marilyn Monroe , Jane Wyatt , Oliver Wendell Holmes and Mitt Romney .
