    Best known for his portrayal as Crazy Guggenheim on 'The Jackie Gleason Show'
    Acted in 'Nancy Goes to Rio (1950),' 'Stella (1950),' 'Call Me Mister (1951),' 'The Model and the Marriage Broker (1951),' 'Scared Stiff (1953)' and 'The Godmothers (1973)'
    Died of a heart attack at age 58
    Though his shtick was playing a drunk he was a teetotaler.
    On 'The Jackie Gleason Show' he would play his drunk character, burst into song with an amazing, clear voice, then revert back to drunkenness.
    He fathered 11 children.
    His father was a circus strongman and his mother was a trapeze artist.
    His Crazy Guggenheim voice was the inspiration for the Bugs Bunny cartoon foil Pete Puma.
    He had a several octave vocal range and his album 'Songs I Sang on The Jackie Gleason Show' reached #1 on Billborad's Album charts in 1963.
