The Resume

    (September 13, 1990- )
    Born in Mobile, Alabama
Birth name is Raymond Anthony McCarron Jr.
    Attended the University of Alabama
2nd Quarterback for the Houston Texans
Played for Cincinnati Bengals (2014–17) Buffalo Bills (2018) and the Oakland Raiders (2018)
Drafted 164th overall by the Bengals in the 5th round of 2014 NFL Draft

Why he might be annoying:

He met his model wife on Twitter.
His stellar gains made in university football have yet to translate to lasting success with an NFL team.
He failed to wrest the starting quarterback position from an injury prone Andy Dalton during his time with the Bengals.
He has the baby-faced visage of a school-boy but sports a full-chest tattoo of a dangling cross probably better suited to an old biker dude.
His mom may have hurt his draft prospects by mocking Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston's linguistics in a tweet she later deleted.
His win at the BCS National Championship Game was overshadowed by the backlash over Brent Musburger making a questionably sexist remark about his then-girlfriend ('you quarterbacks get all the good looking women').

Why he might not be annoying:

He has a scar on his forehead from a near-fatal jet ski accident when he was five.
He made a winning team with Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban.
He led Alabama's Crimson Tide to consecutive BCS National Championships against Louisiana and Notre Dame (as of 2020, he is the only quarterback to do so).
He is one of only seven quarterbacks in history to win back-to-back titles (as of 2020).
He had to put up with his girlfriend and later wife being subjected to lewd messages on social media - including from public figures - for months after his win.
He made serious gains for the Bengals after Andy Dalton was sidelined for the 2015 season, delivering Cincinnati to the playoffs.
The streak culminated in a wild card game against the Steelers that went down to the final minute and loss to a field goal.
He won a grievance against case against the Cincinnati Bengals during his free agency (2018).
