Why he might be annoying:

    He referred to his ex-wife as ‘the plaintiff.’
    When he headed to California to break into comedy, he first ended up parking cars at NBC’s Burbank studios lot.
    He said he ‘bullied my way’ onto the stage of the Comedy Store.
    ’Wet Dream’ was stuffed to the gills with fish puns.
    He noted, ‘When I do the pun thing, I have to do an orgy of puns.’

Why he might not be annoying:

    His mother left the family, taking his half-sister Kathy with her, when he was two.
    His father was physically and emotionally abusive.
    He said, ‘I used humor to avoid getting punched in the nose a lot.’
    ’Wet Dream’ was a perennial favorite on the Dr. Demento show.
