Why he might be annoying:

His nickname is ‘Herbie.'
He left his wife Marcie, also the mother of his two children, for his ‘Skating with Celebrities' partner, actress Kristy Swanson.
He allegedly started his affair with Kristy when Marcie was still pregnant with the second child and before he separated from Marcie.
In the ultimate He Said/She Said fashion, he claims that his relationship with Kristy started when he separated from his wife.
Kristy allegedly alerted Lloyd's wife of the affair by forwarding his emailed love notes to her.

Why he might not be annoying:

For ‘Skating with Celebrities,' he taught his student/partner/lover well.
Judge Dorothy Hamill commented that he and Kristy shared excellent chemistry on the ice (now everyone knows why!).
He, along with his professional figure skating partner Isabelle Brasseur, is a member of Canada's Sports Hall of Fame.
With Isabelle, he won two Bronze medals at the Winter Olympics (1992 & 1994).
They also won five Canadian pairs championships and the 1993 World Pairs Figure Skating Championships.
He is a spokesperson for The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.
He volunteers for Big Brother.
