    Charles Ebbets began purchasing slum property in 1905, kept running out of money, but completed the purchase of all land for Ebbets Field in 1912.

    Until Dodger Stadium was built, they had to watch them in the LA Coliseum, in a converted baseball field format.

    Los Angeles gave 300 acres of land to the Dodgers, in return for a promise to build a stadium on it.
    The 'Dodger Dog' is considered baseball's best ball park hot dog.
    They got to see Kirk Gibson's famous game winning home run in the 1988 World Series in Game 1 off of Dennis Eckersly.
    A fan accused of murder had a strong alibi. He attended the Dodger game that was taped for Larry David's 'Curb your Enthusiasm' during the crime (2003).
