Executed by firing squad at the island prison of Nusa Kambangan
Why he might be annoying
His birthday was sometimes listed as February 2.
He attended Al-Mukmin Islamic boarding school, which is founded by Abu Bakar Ba’asyir and trains terrorists.
He converted his brother Amrozi to militancy when they reunited in <5541>Malaysia.
He founded an Islamic boarding school in Malaysia for the purpose of recruiting more people to Jemaah Islamiyah, and hired Noordin Mohammad Top as its principal. (1991)
He insulted the United States and George W. Bush whenever he showed up in court.
He showed no remorse for his actions.

He was a stabilizing influence to Amrozi during the latter’s early adult years.
He prompted Amrozi to turn over a new leaf from a life of debauchery by initially rejecting him during the latter’s visit to Malaysia.
Most of the victims of the bombings were Australians even though the intended targets were Americans.
