Why he might be annoying:

    He lost interest in grad school after discovering the Apple computer.
    He featured prominently into an Apple Macintosh commercial that was scrapped after the company deemed it 'too self congratulatory.'
    He was interviewed for Channel 4's Triumph of the Nerds special.
    He chose a picture of Scrooge McDuck to be the first image ever displayed on a Macintosh.
    He admitted that Aaron Sorkin's Steve Jobs movie is 'almost nothing like reality' but endorsed it anyway.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was portrayed by Elden Henson and Michael Stuhlbarg in two separate films made about Steve Jobs.
    He was known as the 'Software Wizard' at Apple Computers.
    In 2003, he developed web-based software for collective storytelling that he used to write anecdotes about the development of Apple's original Macintosh.
    He joined Google from 2005 to 2013, and was one of the main creators of Google Plus.
    Since leaving Apple, he has co-founded three companies: Radius in 1986, General Magic in 1990, and Eazel in 1999.
    He helped Mitch Kapor promote open source software with the Open Source Applications Foundation, in 2002.
    He figured prominently into Apple's advertising despite not being photogenic.
    He was part of a team that built computers for the sheer joy of making them work better.
