Why Who's the Boss? might be annoying:

    Like most TV shows titled with a question, the question it poses is pretty stupid.
    The show typecast Tony Danza as Tony Danza.
    The kid who played Johnathan came out as gay in 1997.
    It had one of the most vile stock character creations of the sitcom genre: the sexy grandmother.
    You know what's not funny? Saying, 'Ay-oh, oh-ay' repeatedly.
    Since everything was so feel-good, some episodes were pretty boring.
    Like most 1980's sitcoms, the theme music was not music, but an incredible simulation of what actual music might sound like.
    All of the scripts have been translated, joke for joke, in several different languages.
    Its series finale ended the show the exact same way it started.

Why Who's the Boss? might not be annoying:

    The show's quality expanded with the size of Alyssa Milano's breasts.
    The cast got along well and really felt like a family.
    They resisted the urge to end the show generically with a marriage.
    It was extremely popular outside of the United States.
