He wants $2.5 million dollars for a baseball card he paid $640,550 for (the mint 1910 Honus Wagner card).
At the auction for the card, he had no intention of purchasing it, and thought it would go for over $1 million.
Why he might not be annoying
He was surprised that he was able to get card for only $580,000 at auction ($640,500 after the premiums were paid - 1996).
He is happy with owning a piece of history and enjoys owning it until a buyer comes along.
He is considered one of the top memorabilia collectors and has said: 'The best part of collecting is the people you meet.'
He also said: 'In this life, you only get to borrow history for a while.'
