    (July 13, 1953- )
    Born in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia
    Raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada
    Birth name is Milica Pivnički
    Wife of Brian Mulroney
She was accused by political journalists of trying to become the Canadian version of the First Lady.
She hired a personal office staff to compliment her role of being the Prime Minister's wife.
She was 19 years old when she married Brian, who was a 34 year old lawyer.
She was strongly criticized for redecorating the Prime Minister's residence to her own personal tastes.
She drew the ire of Canadian journalist Stevie Cameron, after it was revealed she sold off the old furniture in the Prime Minister's residence to the federal government for far more then it was actually worth.
She dropped out of Concordia University shortly after she got romantically involved with Brian.
Her lavish shopping sprees frequently made her a target for fodder in the Canadian tabloids.
She and her family emigrated to Montreal when she was five in order to escape the political unrest in Sarajevo.
She played large and instrumental roles in Brian's campaigns for the leadership for the Progressive Conservative Party and his eventual election victory that saw him become the Prime Minister of Canada.
Unlike the previous wives, she genuinely embraced her role as being the Prime Minister's wife.
Despite the fact she took a lot of heat in the media for her lavish lifestyle, she was considered a radical change from previous Prime Minister wives Maureen McTeer and Margaret Trudeau.
As of 2013, she is the last wife of a Canadian Prime Minister to give birth to a child while residing at 24 Sussex Drive.
Her oldest son, Ben, is a TV Personality working on the CTV show ETalk.
