She was a ‘civilian actress technician' during her military tenure.

She was erroneously credited in some Jetsons cartoons as the voice of Jane Jetson.
For her part in ‘the Little Mermaid,' she deliberately deepened her voice.

Rarely was she out of motion picture work.
She was a quiz and panel show regular throughout the 1950s.
‘Gertrude Stein, Gertrude Stein, Gertrude Stein' was a successful one-woman show not just on Broadway but at many American colleges.
Toward the end run of ‘Too Close for Comfort' (which by then was ‘The Ted Knight Show'), she was a highly successful counterpoint to Ted's character.
As she was able to provide the singing voice for Ursula, she scored two platinum albums for her work in ‘the Little Mermaid.'
She played the role of Falstaff very convincingly in ‘Merry Wives.'
