    Portrayed Dippy in 25 Dead End Kids movies, Glimpy in 26 East Side Kids movies and Horace DeBussy 'Sach' Jones in 48 Bowery Boys movies
    Also appeared in the films 'Junior G-Men' (1940), 'A Walk in the Sun' (1945), 'Herbie Rides Again' (1974), 'Won Ton Ton: The Dog Who Saved Hollywood' (1976) and 'Valentino' (1978)
    Although he technically was playing different characters in the 'Dead End Kids,' 'Eastside Kids' and 'Bowery Boys' series, he gave essentially the same performance each time.
    He was married four times and divorced three times.
    He was fined $50 and placed on probation for assault after getting into a fight with a building manager over the noise level at a party he was hosting (1954).
    He was arrested for driving while intoxicated (1959).
    He unsuccessfully worked as used car salesman when the Bowery Boys films ended.
    He appeared in more of the Dead End Kids/East Side Kids/Bowery Boys movies than any other actor.
    He said, 'I look on my career as mostly slapstick. It's a lost art.'
    He was arrested for marijuana possession but got off with a hung jury (1949).
    He invested part of his Bowery Boys earnings in oil and gas, which paid off handsomely in the mid-70s.
    Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick modeled his wardrobe and appearance on Huntz.
