Drafted 130th overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1963 NFL Draft and 115th overall by the New York Titans in the 1963 AFL Draft
Quarterback for the New York Jets (1964), Toronto Argonauts (1965), Calgary Stampeders (1966-68, 1973-74), Denver Broncos (1969-70), Philadelphia Eagles (1971-72) and the BC Lions (1974-75)
CFL Most Outstanding Player Award winner (1967)

Why he might be annoying:

He played on six different teams across three different leagues.
He failed to replicate his success he had in the CFL at the NFL level.
He recorded 30 touchdowns to 46 interceptions in his NFL career.
He left the Jets after one season, after he didn't receive guaranteed playing time.
His second stint with the Stampeders was less successful then his first one.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was part of the powerhouse Penn State football teams of the 1960's.
He set a CFL record (since broken) for most touchdown passes in a single season.
He held the majority of the CFL's passing records, prior to Doug Flutie.
He worked as an NFL game day official for five seasons, before taking a job in the private sector.
He was inducted into the Calgary Stampeders Hall of Fame (1999).
