    Won 1 gold medal at Doha Asian Games (2007)
    Won 3 medals (all gold) at the Beijing Olympics (2008)
    He auctioned off one of the medals he won at the Beijing Olympics.
    He had a rather haughty expression when watching one of his competitors performing the Men's Horizontal Bars during that same event.
    The medals won in every international gymnastics event as a young gymnast were gold.
    During the Beijing Olympics, he was the only gymnast that won more than one individual gold medal.
    The medal he auctioned off was used to gain money for donations to charities aiding the victims of the Sichuan earthquake, which occurred on May 12, 2008.
    His first name, Kai, literally means 'triumph' or 'triumphant' in Chinese.
