Author

The Resume

    (February 3, 1979- )
    Born in Anaheim, California
Author of the syndicated column ¡Ask a Mexican!

Why he might be annoying:

He looks good for the age he'll be ten years from now.
His claims of being a libertarian are questionable to say the least.
He overuses Spanish profanities in his column.
He often comes off as angry and defensive.
Other Mexican Americans have criticized him for 'saving face' in refusing to analyze the causes of legitimate problems in the Mexican American community (i.e. the high teen pregnancy rate, lack of ambition, and not enough Mexican Americans earning college degrees) and being mad at the person asking the question instead of just answering the damn thing.
    Too many in-jokes!

Why he might not be annoying:

Many of the questions he gets asked are funny are recognizable to anyone from a Mexican American community.
He's good at answering history questions.
He is correct in stating that most Mexicans say 'Gabacho' instead of its synonym 'Gringo'.
He calls out Mexicans that claim to be pure indigenous when most Mexicans are mixed race.
He is a distant relative of Jessica Alba.
