    (October 27, 1926-November 12, 1993)
Birth name is Harry Robbins Haldeman
He was a ruthless political operator.
Pierre Rinfret, who worked for Nixon as an economist, wrote about Haldeman and John Ehrlichman: 'They were both obnoxious, drunk with their power, conservative to the extent that Attilla the Hun was a flaming conservative (to them).'
Rinfet continued: 'They were both vile; they had a superiority complex beyond belief, were absolutely convinced they knew everything.'
He was deeply implicated in the Watergate Scandal, for which he was sentenced to an 18-month prison sentence.
He was campaign manager for Richard Nixon's successful 1968 presidential bid.
Nixon said to him upon his resignation 'I love you, as you a brother.'
After his imprisonment, he took on a softer image and devoted lots of time to his family.
He took responsibility for the Watergate scandal in his memoirs.
