    He punched one of his University of Washington teammates with enough force to break his jaw in two places (1998).
    He did it again to one of his Bears teammates, earning a $50,000 fine by the NFL as a result (2005).
    He left the Saints after six games, citing he lost his passion to play football.
    He was released by the Saints outright, after he inadvertently threw Drew Brees into a wall, while trying to go after the team’s offensive line coach, Aaron Kromer.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He made six Pro Bowl appearances as a member of the Bears.
    He finished second to Walter Payton for the Bears franchise record for career starts.
    He was considered a valued leader in the Bears locker room during his career.
    He was a member of the Bears team that made their first Super Bowl appearance in 21 years (2006).
    He owned up to his actions that ended his tenure with New Orleans citing he shouldn’t have reacted with physical force, despite the fact he was frustrated with how it played out.
