Baseball Player
    He was a lightweight hitter.
    15 career seasons - NO All-Star appearances.
In 1981, he had the worst statistics for qualified Triple Crown contenders, hitting no homers, just 13 RBIs, and an abysmal .194 batting average.
He was involved in one of the worst lopsided trades in Phillies history, who in 1982 gave up Philadelphia icon Larry Bowa and future Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg for him.
He was with five different teams his last five years in the majors, not including the Cincinnati Reds, who signed him as a free agent in 1986 and released him 12 days later without playing him.
He was a decent fielding shortstop (and occasional third baseman), posting a .963 fielding percentage.
He had 595 assists in 1977, 5th highest ever for a shortstop.
He led the National League with 104 runs scored in 1978.
On April 22, 1980, he hit for the cycle, the first Cub to do so since 1966.
He at least made it to the World Series twice, once with the '83 Phillies and the other time with the '85 Cardinals, though he won neither (we won't mention his .118 batting average in 17 at bats during those two contests).
He was on friendly terms with his fellow players and managers, rarely losing his cool.
