Bodybuilder
    (April 23, 1968- )
    Born in Charleston, Illinois
Professional body builder and winner of four straight Ms Olympia contests; 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999
Inducted into the International Federation of Bodybuilders Hall of Fame in 2008
Five foot eight and in her championship days usually competed at around 160 pounds
Briefly appeared in the Jennifer Lopez movie, The Cell
She attended Southern Illinois University and was on the dance squad but did not graduate, leaving after three years to take up bodybuilding.
After retiring from bodybuilding she tried to break into fitness modeling but did poorly.
Onstage, she was not known for being a good poser and posed to crappy music.
She dyed her naturally dark hair blonde and had implants.
There is no question about her using steroids and she weighs easily thirty pounds less today than she did while competing.
Her physique was very unfeminine even for a professional bodybuilder.
She retired in a snit when bodybuilding guru Joe Weider announced he wanted female bodybuilders to adopt a more feminine 'look.'
She wasn't able to capitalize on her fame and make money off of merchandising, personal appearances, etc., and doesn't even have her own personal website
A natural all-around athlete, in high school she was a cheerleader; competed in track and field, played basketball and volleyball.
In 1995, she came in second at the Ms. International and Ms. Olympia bodybuilding competitions. The next year she won them both, becoming the first woman to do so in the same year.
Her first victory in the Ms. Olympia contest was a huge upset victory over the heavily favored champion Lenda Murray.
In her short, three year amateur career, she won nine of the eleven contests she entered and came in second in the other two.
She was a willing, excellent, and modest interview.
She retired from bodybuilding to raise her family.
She refused to be photographed in the nude and even in her supposed nude scene in The Cell, her breasts were covered with falsies.
In her prime she was favorably compared to Cory Everson.
