Why they might be annoying:

They included a Tameka and a Tamika.
After they broke up, their members found more success as reality TV stars (Burruss in Real Housewives of Atlanta, Harris in ‘Tiny and Toya’ and ‘T.I. and Tiny’) than as singers.
Burruss refused to join the 2017 reunion unless she got an apology from Tamika Scott for claiming that Burruss broke up the group by sleeping with label owner Jermaine Dupri. (Burruss admitted to a brief affair with Dupri – ‘It wasn’t deep. We hooked up a couple of times.’ – but insisted it had nothing to do with the group disbanding.)
Burruss then left the reunited group, with the remaining three styling themselves as ‘XSCAP3’ (2018).

Why they might not be annoying:

They made their breakthrough performance at BET’s Teen Summit (1992).
    They recorded three platinum albums.
Tamika Scott claimed that when she got pregnant, the record label threatened to throw her out of the group fi she did not get an abortion, but she refused (1994).
Burruss and Harris had success outside the group as songwriters, most notably winning the Grammy for Best R&B Song for TLC’s ‘No Scrubs.’
