    Her PhD dissertation, A Hermeneutic of Aquinas' Men's Through a Sexually Differentiated Epistemology: Towards an Understanding of Woman as Imago Dei, won a prize from the Pontifical Academies and was given to her personally by Pope John Paul II.
    When she was in Rome, she was usually the only woman in classes filled with bishops, priests, and seminarians.
    She is fluent in English, Latin and Italian.
    She is apolitical and is more interested promoting what is right rather than one political party over another.
