    His family has been the cause of repeated scandals in his ministries.
    He had to fire his son-in-law as president of Ligonier Ministries for incompetence and his grandson for repeated acts of public drunkenness.
    His families' combined payroll from Ligonier Ministries is in excess of one million dollars per year.
    Much of his stuff just isn't that well-written.
    He's a Calvinist but is a big fan of St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine.
    His ministry does little to help the poor besides preaching to them.
    He has a cool-sounding name.
    To earn one of his doctorates he had to move to Holland and learn Dutch.
    He's very prolific as a writer and lecturer.
    He himself has not been accused of any type of corruption, just poor judgment.
    He's polite and unpretentious.
    He concentrates his preaching on about God's goodness and our need to imitate it.
    His church is racially integrated, and he preaches against racial bigotry.
