Why he might be annoying:

    He added Bannerman to his name to inherit an estate from his uncle.
    He was nicknamed CB.
    He controversially denounced the British army's 'methods of barbarism' in the Boer War.
    Despite resigning from office, he remained in the Prime Minister's residence at 10 Downing Street, becoming the first Prime Minister to die there three weeks later.

    He was the first British politician officially given the title of Prime Minister.
    His government was known for its efficiency.
