    Shooting guard for the Atlanta Hawks (1977-86), Cleveland Cavaliers (1986), Rapid City Thrillers (1986-87) and Seattle SuperSonics (1987)
    Career totals of 10,163 points, 1522 rebounds and 3436 assists
    Per game averages of 18.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 6.2 assists
    Two-time NBA All-Star (1980-81)
    Sentenced to life in prison without parole for sexual battery and molestation of an 8-year-old girl (2008)
    After returning to the NBA from rehab, he was suspended indefinitely for failing to follow through with drug counselling sessions.
    Over the years, he racked up a hundred arrests and a couple of stints in jail for burglary, drug offenses, assault, etc.
    When he was arrested for molesting the eight year old, he was already awaiting trial for breaking into a hotel room and raping another woman.
    He complained, 'The worst thing about this is that because of my charges I'm being treated as a sexual predator.'
    His high school coach said he was a good student who rarely got into trouble as a youngster.
    Hawks Coach Mike Fratello said, 'Eddie was a great talent, great competitor, very likable person.'
    He is proud of his three children graduating college.
