Why he might be annoying:

    He stated that his early ambition was to play football.
    He said, 'I have more brawn than brains.'
    His record in thirty bouts from 1928 to 1933 fell to 11-20-2.
    The Great Depression forced him to quit boxing for awhile and seek employment as a longshoreman.
    He lost one of his last fights to Joe Louis.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He surprisingly won a match against Max Baer.
    As a result he earned the world heavyweight title from Baer.
    He helped out in various charities and served in the US Army during World War II with his boxing manager Joe Gould.
    Joe Louis said that Braddock was 'the most courageous fighter' he ever fought.
    He was famously portrayed by Russell Crowe in the Oscar-nominated film 'Cinderella Man (2005).'
    In that same film, Rosemarie DeWitt, who is Braddock's real-life granddaughter, played the role of Sara Wilson.
