He called the milquetoast Alan Colmes 'a left wing radical extremist to the left of a Bolshevik.'
He mocked the weight of Nathaniel Jones, a 350-pound black man who died in police custody (2003).
He said he 'cannot see how this isn't funny.'
Warming up the crowd at a John McCain rally, he repeatedly emphasized the middle name of Barack Hussein Obama (February 26, 2008).
He responded to criticism of his remarks by whining, 'Only Democrats, Air America, New York Times, talk-show hosts and newspaper reporters have freedom of speech.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He was named Outstanding Young Lawyer by the Ohio State Bar Association (1983).
He won the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Award for Large-Market Personality of the Year (2001).
McCain disavowed his remarks, declaring 'We will have a respectful debate.'
He said he was asked to give the audience 'red meat' and was then 'thrown under the bus' by McCain.
