His movie 'Boggy Creek II' had virtually nothing to do with the first one, and was later featured on an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
His first film, 'The Legend of Boggy Creek,' was filmed on a budget of around $100,000 and earned $20 million at the box office.
The majority of his films have faded into obscurity.
In addition to directing and acting, he has also worked as a producer, screenwriter, cinematographer and a set decorator.
