    She grew up in a very religious household, both of her parents were strict ministers.
    She divorced.
    She was a mama's girl.
    After her divorce, she moved back home with her mom.
    She said if her mother would get angry and run away from the family, Her mother would always take only her along.
    When the group was searching for fame, they were stranded in Houston with no money and no way home. Her mom would only send enough money to bring June home (1969).
    Her name is June, but she was born in November.
    She was arrested for possession of cocaine along with sister Bonnie (April 22, 2004).
    Charges against Bonnie were dropped.
    She sang 'Little Boy Sweet' in 'National Lampoon's Vacation.'
    She admits to being spoiled.
    She said of AIDS 'There is a cure out there. It has to be. It's major. It's common law. I know there's a cure.'
    She said: 'People are afraid of sex, and yet it's such a beautiful thing.'
    She sang with sister Bonnie in a duo called Pointers-A Pair, the forerunner to The Pointer Sisters.
    She posed in Playboy.
    She sang lead vocals on Bruce Willis' 'Respect Yourself.'
    She sang a duet with Dionne Warwick 'Heartbreak of Love' (1987).
