Birth name is Mary Lillian Ellison
Former WWE Women's Champion and NWA Women's Champion

Her birthday is also recorded as September 15th.

Her first title reign is documented as being held for 28 years, but they weren't 28 years straight, she lost and regained the title periodically.
Her title win over Wendi Richter was controversial, as she was wearing a mask and was called 'The Spider Lady.' The referee counted three while Richter's shoulders were clearly not on the mat; the ref gave Moolah the match and the title anyway.
Despite being 80 and not being able to perform the way she used to, she still wrestled from time to time and she usually stinks up the arena.
Until her death she appeared from time to time on WWE TV in skits with Mae Young, most of which are hard to watch.
She appeared in Cyndi Lauper's atrocious video for 'The Goonies R Good Enough For Me.'
Her book was a critical and financial dud.
Her book was panned because she seemed to remain in character while telling her story.

She's inspired many female wrestlers and she ran a wrestling school in Columbia, South Carolina.
She broke the ban against women wrestling in Madison Square Garden and was the first woman to do so.
She held the women's title for most of 28 years.
Despite her old age, she was still able to take bumps from wrestlers including being slammed over the head with a guitar by Jeff Jarrett.
She beat Ivory in 1999 to win the WWE Women's Title for the fourth time, becoming the oldest wrestler to hold a title in the history of the sport.
She wrestled a match on her 80th birthday.
    She's ranked #94 in Total Wrestling Magazine's 100 Greatest Heels of All-Time.
She's a member of the WWE Hall of Fame and the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.
