Albums include ‘Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac (1968),’ ‘English Rose (1969)’ and ‘Then Play On (1969)’

Why he might be annoying:

Although he technically founded Fleetwood Mac, the band didn’t take off until after he left.
He changed his name from ‘Greenbaum’ to hide his Jewish ethnicity.
He was addicted to LSD.
He had to abandon the band because of his drug habit.
He had a mental breakdown and gave away all his money.
When an accountant tried to give him a royalty check, Green pulled a gun on him.
He was jailed and institutionalized.
His career never really recovered.
Like many blues guitarists, he got really fat.
He looks like Sam Kinison.

He was so important to the original Fleetwood Mac that it was called ‘Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac.’
He wrote the hit Santana song ‘Black Magic Woman.’
B.B. King called him ‘the only guitarist who ever made me sweat.’
