Football Coach

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

Some football pundits felt his hiring with the Ravens was out of vanity, since he was associated with the Colts during their stay in Baltimore.
His tenure with the Ravens was a disappointment, especially in contrast with the Colts, as he went 14-31-1 in the franchise's first three seasons.
He was a nomad during his tenure as an offensive coordinator.
He waited over a decade to take another head coaching position.
Despite his impressive record with the Colts in Baltimore, his tenure with the team in Indianapolis was less successful.

Why he might not be annoying:

He served in the U. S. Army during the 1954 season.
He got his start in coaching by serving on George Allen's coaching staff.
He is credited with implementing the hurry up offense frequently used by teams today.
He served as the first head coach in the history of the Baltimore Ravens franchise.
He is the only person to serve as the head coach for both the Colts and the Ravens, while both franchises were based in Baltimore.
