He blamed Ashlee's 'Saturday Night Live' lip-synching mishap on acid reflux.
He forbade Ashlee from making her film debut as a lesbian character because he was uncomfortable with a gay themes.

His daughters are loyal to him.
He is devoted to his family.
When Jessica received criticism over her large breasts, he defended her by saying 'Jessica never tries to be sexy. She just is sexy. If you put her in a T-shirt or you put her in a bustier, she's sexy in both. She's got double D's! You can't cover those suckers up!'
