Why he might be annoying:

He was a chain smoker.
From his name, most people would think he was involved in Scotch and not snack foods.
His nickname was Mr. Twinkie.
He ate two to three Twinkies every day before going to bed.
Although it is said that Twinkies can last forever, they do have an expiration date.
He said: 'Twinkies was the best darn-tootin' idea I ever had.'
The Twinkie is junk food and some people even deep fry them.

Why he might not be annoying:

Almost a thousand Twinkies are consumed every minute.
He worked his way up from delivery boy to plant manager of Continental Baking (Hostess Cakes) within ten years.
He was very efficient. He noticed the equipment and molds to make strawberry shortcakes laid idle when strawberries were not in season. He used them to make Twinkies.
His idea was to place inside a shortcake, a banana filling.
Due to a banana shortage during WW II, the filling was changed to a white vanilla creme substance.
He came up with the name Twinkie when he saw a 'Twinkle Toe Shoe Co.' billboard in St. Louis.
He created one of the most (if not the most) popular junk food snacks.
A ten foot, one ton Twinkie was made for its 50th anniversary (1980).
The Twinkie was included in the nation's millennium time capsule.
It was a staple of many bomb shelters built in the '60s.
There is a web site dedicated to doing scientific experiments on Twinkies.
His home city of Chicago is the largest consumer of Twinkies.
