TV Series
    (September 12, 2004-May 11, 2005)
    Aired on the WB
Set in the fictional town of Hart, Missouri
Plot: The story of two brothers, one of them will grow up and become US President
    Christine Lahti as Grace McCallister
    Matt Long as Jack McCallister
    Logan Lerman as Bobby McCallister
    Jessica Paré as Courtney Benedict
    Edwin Hodge as Marcus Ride
    John Slattery as Peter Benedict
Although the setting is in Missouri, the show is filmed in Santa Clarita, California and the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
The title confuses people into believing the show is about John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy.
Grace McCallister is an eccentric, multi-dimensional, pot smoking college professor who's always in conflict with her son Jack.
It's another typical high school drama show from the WB.
Bobby McCallister is a social misfit who is caught between his mother Grace and his brother Jack.
Jack McCallister is a stereotypical 'perfect' big brother.
They killed off a character who had an abortion (to appease the religious right).
At the end of the pilot episode, Bobby is the one that becomes President (Jack died), so the show is really about Bobby McCallister and the people and events that shaped his future.
The story of Jack and Bobby McCallister is told through interviews with White House staff and future First Lady Courtney Benedict.
Peter Benedict serves as an intellectual equal to Grace McCallister, who is both attracted to and repelled by him.
Despite her questionable character, Grace McCallister's personality has shaped the lives of her two sons.
The show offers a fictional glimpse into America's future, some 40 or 50 years from now; a future where America is even more divided than today and is lead by a man who truly unifies the country.
