Why he might be annoying
He has a long scraggly beard, similar to his father and brothers.
His trademark is his Star Spangled bandana
Due to his bandana and white sportcoat, he is nicknamed 'Boss Hog.'
He likes to proselytise his religious belief on people.
He, along with Korie, Sadie, Jase and Phil appeared in the music video for Darius Rucker's single 'Wagon Wheel.'
Many Duck Dynasty fans felt that the show centered too much on his and Korie's family life, then on the Duck Commander line of products.
Why he might not be annoying
He started working for Duck Commander at a young age, often doing menial jobs such as building duck calls and taking invoice orders.
He majored in business at Harding University, which served as the springboard for turning Duck Commander from a family business to million dollar empire.
He and Korie adopted a biracial son, and fostered a daughter originally from Taiwan, in addition to their three biological children.
He earned the inaugural Governor's Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence, as a result of his work in his home state of Louisiana.
Despite his succesful empire, he remained humble and down to earth and refused to allow his fame get to his head.
