Radio Personality
    (May 6, 1981- )
    Nessa Diab
Hot 97 Disc Jockey, formerly Wild 94.9
    Host of MTV's 'Girl Code'
Was announced to be publicly dating San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick (Feb. 2, 2016)
Came under national scrutiny as Kaeperick's most likely source of inspiration for protesting against the National Anthem by sitting/kneeling
    Twitter handle is @nessnitty
She is a diehard supporter of Black Lives Matter's methods.
Before dating Kaep, she was involved with his teammate, Aldon Smith.
This was deemed the cause of some tension between the two players, leading to an alleged off-the-field altercation, and possibly even leading to Smith's released from the team, as a result.
While 'she always dates younger men' may be overkill, its a telling sign that Smith and Kaepernick were both noticeably younger than she was (eight and three years her junior, respectively).
She admitted to being paranoid about the possibility of being cheated on, and to stalking boyfriends as a result.
She joked about mistaking the sound of a GPS in her boyfriend's car for 'another woman' and to suspecting he was cheating because he liked a picture of a tiger on Facebook.
She denied having any role in Kaepernick's decision to sit out the National Anthem, but skeptics took note of his social media becoming exceedingly more 'political' in tone around the time he started dating her.
Her Muslim heritage also gave way to the debunked rumor that Kaepernick had 'converted to Islam,' leading Rep. Steve King to bizarrely suggest that his 'having an Islamic girlfriend' could be construed as 'sympathetic to ISIS.'
Her father's job resulted in her frequently traveling between the US and the Middle East, as a kid.
She had received a Mass Communications degree from University of California at Berkeley by the age of 20.
She attained a sizable early following from a series of clever celebrity interviews that went viral on YouTube, which led to further opportunity with Wild 94.9.
She has hosted after show episodes of 'Teen Mom,' 'Real World,' and 'Snooki & JWoww.'
She went on to take over for Angie Martinez when she left for 105.1, in 2013, taking on the coveted Hot 97 Afternoon Drive shift in New York City that Martinez had held for some 20 years.
She defended Kaepernick from Stephen A. Smith's various attacks (and may have influenced Kaep to start rocking an afro).
She has claimed to have experienced Islamaphobia throughout her life (which isn't that far fetched considering the uproar over the rumor that she and Colin were planning 'an Islamic wedding').
She is active with many local New York-based charities from underprivileged children, for example donating $60,000 worth of backpacks to children in Harlem/South Bronx for the school year.
When first asked for her thoughts on her boyfriend's protest, she answered 'I think we should use this to have open dialogue and take steps to make this country a better place to live in ... When someone asks you how you feel about tragedies that are going on, you have to be honest.'
