Why he might be annoying:

He produced 'Doogie Howser.'
His series, 'Girls Club,' about three attractive young female lawyer trying to make it big in a male-dominated profession, was cancelled after two episodes.
In trying to capitalize on the popularity of 'Ally McBeal,' he created a short-lived annex series 'Ally.'
In a not-so-sensitive move, producers, including Kelley, had the set crew dismantle the 'Ally McBeal' set as the cast was shooting a scene in an adjacent area, shortly after the cast found out that the series was going to be cancelled.

Why he might not be annoying:

While attending Princeton, he captained the college hockey team.
He graduated Boston University Law School (1983).
His legal knowledge helped him with his script writing for 'LA Law.'
He met Michelle Pfeiffer on a blind date and married her.
He won ten Emmys, three Golden Globes, two Peabody Awards, the Paul Selvin Award from the Writers Guild of America and two awards from The Producer's Guild.
He is ranked in People Magazine's 25 Most Intriguing People (1999).
He ranked #27 in Forbes Power List (2000).
