Why he might be annoying:

After filming some scenes, director Peter Jackson fired him from the role of Aragorn in 'Lord of the Rings.' He was replaced by Viggo Mortensen and those scenes were shot again.
As a teen he was extremely rebellious, got into fights and was expelled from school on several occasions.
He enrolled in the Gaiety School of Acting because a girl he dated attended there.
He has bushy eyebrows.

He supported himself for years as a boxer while struggling to become an actor.
