    (June 15, 1963- )
    Born in Dayton, Ohio
    Daughter of George Carlin
Host of New Dissident Radio’s ‘Waking from the American Dream Radio Show’
Author of ‘Dirty Laundry: Real Life, Real Stories, Real Funny’ and ‘Mother’s Day’ essay
Creator of the one-woman shows ‘Driven to Distraction’ and ‘A Carlin Home Companion’
At the risk of sounding like nepotism, her professional life began working for her parents on various Home Box Office programs.
Thanks to her exposure to the counterculture, she was obligated to become wise beyond her years.
Her interview with Bill Maher was a direct result of her father’s death.
She opted to work on her own memoirs rather than collecting stories from her father’s friends and family to form an ‘oral history.’
By age eight, she had developed a knack for impressionism (particularly of Ethel Merman) and sketch comedy.
She achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies… at age 30.
In her 40s, she went on to study mythology and Jung psychology.
She interviewed such comedians as Roseanne Barr, Phyllis Diller, Sid Caesar, and Gary Owens.
She honored her father’s memory by eating a cheeseburger at his favorite hole-in-the-wall.
