    Catcher for the Oakland Athletics (1998-2000), Kansas City Royals (2001-02), Detroit Tigers (2003) and Philadelphia Phillies (2004)
    Manager for the Arizona Diamondbacks (2009-10) and the Houston Astros

    He primarily served as a backup catcher.
    He goes by his initials, rather then his full name.
    He was a member of the Tigers team that nearly broke the modern day futility record (2003).
    He was fired by the Diamondbacks midway through his second season with the club.
    He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 1992 and the Minnesota Twins in 1995, declining to sign with them and opting to sign with Oakland upon being drafted by the team the following year.
    He was fired by the Houston Astros hours after MLB suspended him for the entire 2020 season for his failure to stop an elaborate sign stealing setup to help Astros hitters during their 2017 championship season (January 13, 2020).
