Why he might be annoying

Like his immediate predecessors, he banned monotheism and brought back the old gods.
His Hall of Records at Abydos omits many controversial pharaohs such as Akhenaten.
His tomb was closed to the public in 1991 due to its weak ceiling.
Visitors pay twice the cost of regular admission to see his mummy at the Egyptian Museum.
Why he might not be annoying
He continued his father's efforts to restore stability after Akhenaton's troubled reign.
He recovered lost territories, contained military foes and reestablished Egypt as a world power.
Art and culture flourished during his reign.
He built several of Egypt's most beautiful temples and monuments.
He fathered Ramses II, perhaps Egypt's greatest pharaoh.
He probably died when he was less than forty.
