Why he might be annoying:

It is inappropriate to give a little boy the nickname 'Spanky.'
His catch phrase was 'Okey Dokey!'
He was 'the fat boy' from the 'Little Rascals' series.
Stan Laurel taught him, his famous double and triple-takes. His other mannerisms (eye rolling, hands on hips, and exasperated expression) were taken from Oliver Hardy.
He was nicknamed Spanky after his mother warned him to stop acting mischievous. She kept saying spanky, spanky to him.
His father and Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer's father fought constantly over which son deserves star billing.

He was discovered at three.
Despite their fathers feuding, He and Carl were best friends.
He was the only 'Little Rascals' star to move onto better things.
He is the only 'Little Rascals' star to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Although known as 'the fat rascal' he grew up quite handsome.
He loved golf and joined the pro-am circuit.
He created and hosted his own daily kids TV show, 'The Spanky Show' (1955-60) featuring re-runs of 'Little Rascals' sketches.
