    Also played for Le Havre (1993-94), Évreux (1994-95), Fort Wayne Fury (1995), Rockford Lightning (1995-96, 1997) and Besançon (1997)
    NBA Champion (2003, 2005, 2007)

    He looks older then he really is.
    His offensive skills were considered poor at best.
    He bounced around the French leagues and the independent ones, prior to landing with the Heat.
    He was primarily used as a bench player, prior to signing with San Antonio.
    He earned a $7500 fine after he kicked Wally Szczerbiak in the face during a game (2002).

    He overcame a turbulent childhood, as he grew up in a home with an alcoholic father and a crack addicted mother.
    He found a permanent NBA home in San Antonio, where he established himself as one of the league's top perimeter lockdown players.
    He was a member of all three of the Spurs championship teams in the 2000's.
    He served as an advocate for childhood obesity awareness.
    He had his number 12 retired by the Spurs, and gave his permission for the team to issue it to LaMarcus Aldridge, when the latter signed with the team.
