    He was the original Korean dub voice for Alex the Lion in the 2005 Dreamworks animated film 'Madagascar.'
    However, he was replaced by actor Wang-yeong Seong in the sequels.
    He discouraged his son Song Jun-pyung from becoming a professional soccer player.
    He was trained under Kee Kuk-seo's theatre company, which emphasized instinctive acting and improvisation.
